Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead, by Sheryl Sandberg
This book by Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg examines the lack of women leaders in government and industry, and suggests ways that women (and men) can help to close the gender gap. It’s essentially an elongation of a very popular TED talk she gave a few years back, and it has sold by the boatload (causing a storm of controversy along the way).
This is the type of title I like to tear through on a plane, when I’ve got the time to absorb the ideas in one, intense reading session. I’m not sure what I’ll make of ‘Lean In’ - I’ve read reviews both good and bad - but I’m looking forward to finding out.
