If you’ve ever wasted an hour of your life going through the motions of a generic yoga/aerobics/body pump class at your local gym then chances are that you’ve lost all faith in group exercise. I know I had, until I visited Frame’s newly opened Queen’s Park location (there’s one in Shoreditch, too). Frame is a fun and stylish studio that actually seem to have given some thought to how women - and men - want to exercise.
The signature Frame Work class is a mix of high-intensity, muscle-burning conditioning and strength building exercises, inspired by dance and pilates. I liked it because I used muscles that I didn’t know I had. I liked it because they played a soundtrack of hip hop, rock and Britney Spears c.2004. I liked it because it made me sweat (that’s what I’m there for, after all). In fact, I liked it so much that I cancelled my gym membership and bought a Frame Top-Up card instead. There are no joining fees, no commitment, no hassle. Give them a try.
