Conveniently located in ten different London neighbourhoods, Gail’s is a bakery-slash-cafe that makes really amazing breads, cakes and pastries. At some of the branches, you can sit and enjoy Gail’s produce for breakfast (think brioche French toast served with vanilla & citrus ricotta and poached rhubarb) or lunch (have an artisan sandwich or a gourmet chorizo, roasted butternut squash & quinoa salad). I particularly like the Exmouth Market branch - probably because it’s my local, but also because it’s considerably more spacious than some of Gail’s smaller locations.
“I work on Wardour Street, so for coffees or a quick lunch I always go to Gail’s. I’m there all the time. It’s really good."
